COWON America

Cowon Systems, Inc. is a South Korean consumer electronics and software company. Established in 1995, the company's initial focus was software development. In 2000, with the introduction of the iAUDIO CW100, Cowon expanded their business to the portable media player industry, which is now their main area of business.Cowon expanded to the American market in 2000 by founding the company JetAudio, Inc., headquartered in Irvine, California. On March 30, 2005 (2005-03-30), this branch changed its name to Cowon America, but has since switched back.
