Nutanix is a virtualization infrastructure company located in San Jose, California. Nutanix's mission is to virtualize a datacenter without the need for a SAN; thus converging two tiers of infrastructure down to one.Following the distributed systems employed by Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Twitter, Nutanix enables a company to virtualize their always-growing datacenter without the use of a SAN. Through the use of server-attached PCIe Flash and high capacity SATA drives, Nutanix's distributed storage-and-compute cluster localizes the datapath for higher performance.
