From 1968 to 1972 IT adviser at a Portuguese Computer Seller Company. From 1973 to 1992 Systems Engineer and CEO of IT at CUF - Portuguese Chemical (non oil) Company. From 1993 to 1998 IT Professor at University of Evora Portugal and at University of Extremadura Spain. From 1999 to 2004 IT Professor at Universidade do Minho Portugal.
