Mr. Edward Ebenezer Rajakumar

Edward E. Rajakumar belongs to the 14th Batch of the Training School of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. He graduated from College of Engineering, Guindy of Madras University. In July 1971 he joined Space Science and Technology Centre, Trivandrum, then under the Department of Atomic Energy. Later it was to be renamed as Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre. During 1975 he was deputed to DFVLR, West Germany under an Exchange Program for scientists. Designing and building an Indian Computer has been his lifelong professional passion. He is the Chief architect and Team leader of the indigenously developed Advanced Mission Computer for the satellite launch vehicle program of ISRO. Presently he is the Group Director of Computer and Information Group at VSSC.
