David Wolf is President and Chief Executive Officer of Wolf Group Asia (WGA), a Beijing-based management advisory firm providing strategic corporate communications and marketing services to companies in the innovative and creative industries.
David serves as senior counselor to Motorola, About.com, Friendster, and AOL, among others, and provides advice to a range of clients through his work with major advertising and PR agencies. David also holds the position of Policy Advisor to the United States Information Technology Office (USITO) in Beijing. His previous clients have included Intel, Hewlett-Packard, SAP, Discovery Networks, NVIDIA, and Blizzard.
David is regularly called upon by regional and global media as a commentator on the technology industry and on business in China. He serves on advisory boards for the China Economic Quarterly; is a contributing editor of China Corporate Social Responsibility magazine and The China Media Yearbook; and is is a regular contributor to online and print publications, including Media magazine and his weblog Silicon Hutong (www.siliconhutong.com).
David is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) (Computer Society, Standards Association, and Professional Communications Society), and is a PADI-certified Rescue Scuba Diver
David has lived in China since 1995 and currently resides in Beijing with his family. David holds a Masters degree in International Management from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of California, Davis. In addition to English, he is fluent in Mandarin and Spanish.
