Description
ACONIT, a private association based in Grenoble FRANCE, was founded in 1985 by a group of industrial and university
users who were concerned about the loss of almost all traces of computing history. The stated goal of the association is
the creation of a conservatory of computing history. ACONIT continues to lobby for the creation of a permanent home where
its collection of several thousand hardware, software and documentary artifacts can be properly stored, cataloged, studied and
presented to the public.
