Worked in Computer Industry with the pioneering LEO Computers in UK since late 1952. Joined LSE in 1967 to establish teaching and research in the new discipline of 'systems analysis'. Professor of Information Management, London Business School 1985. Currently Emeritus Professor in Information Systems and Innovation Group, London School of Economics. Joint author of "LEO The Incredible Story of the Worlds First Business Computer", McGraw-Hill, 1997, and various papers in the IEEE Annals of the History of Computing. Chairman of LEO Foundation.
