The service allows the user to establish an encrypted VPN connection to the server of the operator, who then forward the data to the Internet. This one's IP address will be obfuscated and the IP of the VPN server forwarding replaced, which provides anonymity of users. In addition to the anonymity CyberGhost also provides the environment to public networks. This enables public and non-encrypted Wi-Fi hotspots to use safely, because the data is encrypted prior to transmission over the wireless hotspot by Cyber ​​Ghost VPN client on the user's computer.
