Inducted into the WITI Hall of Fame in 2005, Raman built a distinguished career spanning research management, technology leadership, and academic innovation. Until February 2006, she served as director of Hewlett Packard Labs, where she was responsible for strategic planning and innovation in imaging and printing for HP's flagship products.
At Stanford University, Raman held a senior fellow position and conducted research on business models and metrics for technology-based solutions, with a focus on humanitarian, educational, and sustainable development goals. She was also a recognized author in her field.
