BMC participated for the first time in the microelectronics industry in 1976, using its expertise for producing high-performance pocket electronic calculators. And BMC has been actively developing various kinds of products, centering on LSI, where the international competition has intensified greatly. Since then, BMC has been continually expanding its business activities, including office and amusement equipment, personal computers, and office automated (OA) equipment.

In 1987, BMC started to develop Cash Register and Poinf of Sales (POS) device. At the same time, BMC launched the first “Fiscal Cash Register” implementation in Italy.

BMC has vigorously promoted international cooperation. All those activities concretely represent BMC’s corporate philosophy that : “By fully recognizing our duty as international corporation, we’ll devote ourselves to improvement and enhancement of the international society”

The world entered the 21st century when Co-existence and Harmony have become even more important.

To achieve these two, global perspective, imagination, and positive actions are required. Thus, by utilizing our long-acquired expertise in electronics technology, we envision the realization of “Circle of International Communication”. Lastly we respectfully request your whole-hearted assistance, understanding and cooperation. Thank you very much.
