Description
The ifNOTE, announced in 1990, was a notebook personal computer employing the AX architecture. It was the first notebook PC to use a 16MHz 32-bit MPU as its CPU, and the main unit had a number of standard equipment interfaces for connecting with devices like an external CRT display or flexible disk. It also allowed installation of an internal modem. "Microsoft Works" from Microsoft Corporation was provided standard as integrated software for word processing, spreadsheets, databases and communications.
