Description

The "Page Master MB-6880" was announced in September 1978 as an 8-bit microcomputer which would later be called the "BASIC Master Level 1".It could be connected not only to a special-purpose RGB display, but also to an ordinary household television. Naturally, it could be programmed in BASIC, but it was also designed to play tunes programmed with tones given by Japanese katakana characters, and to execute game programs with the built-in standard graphic mode. This was the first real example of the "personal computer" -- something which was previously only a concept.
