Description

The Canon LE-85 uses the TMS0807 calculator chip instead of the TMS0101 used in the earlier LE-83.From the technology the LE-85 is similar to the Exactra-19 introduced by TI same time. The LE-85 and its sibbling LE-84 were the last pocket calculators in Canon’s line using the red LED display. The display of the pictured calculator was supplied by Rohm of Japan and looks somewhat differen to the knowm LED-sticks.
