Description
Apple II was the successor to the Apple 1 on which it was largely based. It was the very first commercial success of the Apple Computer Company and the first personal computer to support color graphics. The Apple II was available with as little as 4 KB of memory and supports up to 48 KB on the system board. With the addition of the Apple Language Card, it can have 64 KB of memory and be able to use Applesoft BASIC instead of the earlier Apple Integer BASIC. Additional features are added to the Apple II via its 7 expansion slots, which support serial cards, parallel cards, floppy drive controllers, and more, making it the most flexible and expandable of the three personal computers introduced in 1977.
