Description
The Canon FC-43 continued a long line of Metric Converter calculators based on Integrated Circuits (IC's) developed by Toshiba. The first known product with a LC-display is the Toshiba LC-838. Canon introduced already in 1974 with the FC-80 their first metric conversion calculator using a LED display before introducing the FC-42 with a LC-display, too.
