The Hayakawa Electric Industry Company, as it was called, became more involved in electronics, and in 1964 produced one of the first transistorised electronic desktop calculators, the first of Japanese manufacture, the Sharp CS-10.This model is belived to be a 1976 model with a serial number of 49014612.
