Description
The SCP-234 computer, shown in Figure 4, was developed by RCA's Astro-Electronics Division specifically for space applications. It weighs less than 8 pounds, occupies a volume of 300 cubic inches, and requires 5 watts of power. The SCP-234 utilizes COS/MOS technology both for the logic circuitry and for the main memory.
