E.Star Infotech was incorporated on December 23, 1999, as a private limited company under the name and style 'Starwar Infotech Private Limited'. The name was changed to the present one on January 19, 2000 and subsequently it was converted into a public limited company on February 8, 2000. The company is based in Navi Mumbai, where it has its software development centre.
