Description
All working life connected with IT as designer, programmer, user, consultant. Started in 1957 programming Ferranti Pegasus computer for UK Research Organisation. Programmed EDSAC2. Worked with David Wheeler on logical design of Cambridge Atlas while with Ferranti. Been with ICT, Charing Cross Hospital – one of first successful applications of IT to hospital operations in UK, Logica / European Space Agency on spacecraft control software and Spacelab with NASA, Britoil (Oil Company) as IT Design Authority, PA Consulting Group (IT Application Consulting to Oil Companies and Electricity Utilities. Currently have own company developing small business applications.
