Mr. MARCELO VIANNA

I am PhD student in History at the Pontíficia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS). I graduated in History from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS), specialist in Adult Learning Education and master in History from PUCRS. I worked in different institutions, such Arquivo Histórico do RS (Historical Archives of RS) and Memorial do Ministério Público do RS (Attorney General Memorial of RS) and currently I am a substitute teacher in Faculty of Education at UFRGS and integrate the Laboratory of Comparative History of South Cone at PUCRS. My major works are “Comunidade Negra de Morro Alto: Historicidade, Identidade e Territorialidade” (Black Community of Morro Alto: Historicity, Identity and Territoriality – coauthor, 2004) and “Os homens do Parquet: Trajetórias e Processo de Institucionalização do Ministério Público do RS” (Men of Parquet: trajectories and institutionalization process of Rio Grande do Sul’s Public Attorney – dissertation, 2011).
