Director of Precision Dynamics Discovery Shed.
Currently building a working replica of the 1832 small surviving portion of Charles Babbage's Difference Engine No.1 in bronze and iron as per the original in London.
Also building a partial full size demonstration mock up of the entire 1833(steam driven) Difference Engine No.1 to explain the workings at the time of abandonment.
We have a small museum at the "Shed" covering, computing before computers, a 1940's working section of Julius's totalisator (the first online realtime dater processing system was invented 1913) Early modern computers ie PDP-7 and working PDP-8 from Max Burnet's BACK Museum.
