Co-founder of the location-based social networking site Foursquare.com, Selvadurai is a US internet entrepreneur born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He graduated with degrees from King's College London in the UK and Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the US, and went on to work with Lucent, Sony, Nokia, and Sun Microsystems before starting his mobile social networking venture Foursquare, along with Dennis Crowley.

His joint venture had an estimated value of $600 million. Selvadurai has been listed in the "World's New Young Millionaires" released by AOL Small Business. He appeared on Fox Business Network and CNN's special by Fareed Zakaria, "Getting America Back to #1," talking about how he became the person that he is today.

On March 4, 2012, he announced on his blog that he would step down from his day-to-day operational role at the company later that month. Selvadurai has continued to serve as a board member and adviser to the company.
