Description

One of the first members of the celebrated female computer group known as "the Harvard Computers," Winlock was an American astronomer who produced the most complete catalog of stars near the north and south poles of her era.

She is also remembered for her calculations and studies of asteroids, including notable work on 433 Eros and 475 Ocllo.
