This Toshiba LC-857 doesn't fit into the line! Based on the yellow polarization filter and the Toshiba T3709 single-chip calculator circuit found inside, it was probably designed in 1980. But in this time frame all Toshiba handheld calculators were assembled in Japan, while this model was made in Hong Kong.
