Osborne 1a
Description

The Osborne 1 was the original mass-market portable computer, and pioneered the "luggable" form-factor with the detachable keyboard forming a lid on one end of the machine.

The Osborne shipped with a prodigious bundle of software that made the machine a terrific deal at the time. It was incredibly usable and fairly rugged (once the original Osborne 1 thin plastic case was replaced by a solid ABS case in the "Osborne 1a" version shown here).
