Description

In July 1988 the if800EX Series of personal computers was announced. These featured a 1 megabyte main memory unit, and greater speed and capacity due to adoption of the 80386. These machines were 32-bit personal computers equipped with a VM Monitor (Virtual Machine Monitor) to enable multitasking, where up to 3 application programs could be simultaneously executed under M(Byo)-DOS.
