EX840
Description

The EX830 and EX840 increased speed by using high-speed and high-density ECL-LSI with a gate delay time of 0.5ns and 6,000 gates, and high-speed ECL-RAM with an access time of 7ns. With a footprint of 1 square meter and size of 1 cubic meter, they achieved a revolutionary reduction in set-up space for a general-purpose computer. The EX850 was a dual processor system which could be configured simply by adding an expansion processor stand cabnet to the EX840.
