HITAC M-200H
Description

This machine employed state-of-the-art technology like semiconductors, and was announced in 1978 as the world's largest and fastest large general-purpose computer. A delay check system for checking LSI circuit delay was developed, and this was very effective in finding faults at the design stage. This system also played a key role later as a tool for computer development. The functional logic diagram system was fully utilized as a design technique for converting to LSI, and this drastically improved design quality. The system was equipped with a high-speed arithmetic mechanism and built-in array processor for scientific computation.
