Description
The B Series B-16 was a personal computer with a 16-bit CPU, 256KB of memory (512KB maximum), and two 5.25-inch floppy disks, or a 5.25 floppy disk and a 10MB hard disk. It was designed for OA (Office Automation) and FA (Factory Automation). It supported large capacity files and kanji (Chinese character) display. Another feature was its comprehensive lineup of task-specific applications, ranging from general office software for word processing, table generation and drawing, to finance/accounting and sales/inventory management, and operation monitoring for equipment such as robots. It was completed in 1983.
