Description
Aiwa PT-H50 is a mobile phone released by Aiwa in 1995.
This phone were came from Japan, where used on DDI-Pocket operator's PHS network. PHS originally developed in Japan in the early 1990's, but it used in China, Taiwan and Thailand. PHS networks use smaller cells than GSM, the base stations covers about hundred meter or one kilometer circle with maximum 500mW power. Building a PHS network is relatively simple and cheap compared to GSM, but only in cities.
