Sonic Foundry (NASDAQ: SOFO) is the former developer of various media software suites, which were purchased by Sony in late 2003 for $18 million in cash and the assumption of certain liabilities and obligations. Sonic Foundry's current product line consists of the webcasting, presentation software Mediasite.
