Sageworks is the leader in the financial analysis of private companies in the U.S. and provides private company financial data and develops software applications for financial institutions, CPAs and private companies. It is incorporated and headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. Sageworks was started on January 6, 1998, by Brian Hamilton and Sarah Tourville (now retired). From its inception in 1998, the company's mission was to increase the rate of business success by giving people data they can understand and use, which helps them make better financial decisions.
