Mobelux was founded in 2008 by Jeff Rock and Garrett Ross. The idea? Create high quality software applications for the iPhone and OS X. Tumblrette was Mobelux's first released iPhone app. It was acquired in February of 2009 by Tumblr, Inc. and re-released as Tumblr for iPhone. It was followed up in August 2009 by Awards., a collaborative effort between Mobelux and David Chartier.
