Gemalto is an international digital security company providing software applications, secure personal devices such as smart cards and tokens in addition to managed services. The company was formed in June 2006 by the combination of two companies Axalto and Gemplus International. Gemalto's 2011 revenue was €2.02 billion. It is listed on Euronext Paris under the symbol GTO
